Wow... Sorry people who often check this page... I have not posted basically at all over the summer because I went on two trips for a while.then I started school. Yes, I'm in school. So hopefully I will post more often and get more views. My goal is to have over 100 by the end of this month. So far I have 46, pretty good for a new blog.

Sorry for the delay

Horses Before You Were Born
Okay, so today we are going to talk about some of the first horses.
Weird, right?
Can you believe this three-toed (back legs, 4 toes on the front legs) animal that lived during the dinosaur age turned into the horse that lives now?
-This horse's scientific name is Propalaeotherium.
-It's about the size of a small dog
-Scientists know that this is not the first horse but it is pretty close.
Scientists believe the first horse, a Hyracotherium, was the very first horses...
-Believed to live about 50 million years ago.
-With the left over teeth structures they figured out that it was a plant eater, meaning horses have always been eating plants.
The picture is misbehaving so I cannot put it in...sorry I will try next post.
I will try to describe it.
-It is usually light brown.
-Sometimes has white spots around its eye, not all the time though.
-Has white stripes running from the eyes down to the tail.
